We are seeking a motivated Assistant Operations Manager to join our send shift. The Assistant Operations Manager aids the Operations Manager in overseeing the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of materials, product and services to the Intsel Steel customers.
The Assistant Operations Manager supports the Operations Manager in overseeing the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the branch. This position provides leadership and direction to operations, production, warehouse, logistics, and support functions to ensure materials and products are received, processed, stored, and delivered in a timely manner while meeting company, customer, quality, and safety standards.
The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the achievement of operational, financial, and productivity objectives; maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations; developing and supporting employees and supervisors; and driving continuous improvement throughout the operation.
This position serves as a key member of the site leadership team and acts as a primary support to the Operations Manager in managing day-to-day operations and achieving overall branch objectives.

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in distribution/production
• Minimum 3 (3) years of experience in management/supervisory position
