Overview

The Production Recorder is responsible for accurately tracking, recording, and labeling production materials throughout the manufacturing process. This role ensures precise piece counts, identifies quality concerns, maintains production records in the system, and assists with packaging materials to support efficient operations and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate piece counts of cut material and verify inventory quantities.
  • Inspect material for damage, defects, or out-of-spec conditions and report quality concerns.
  • Enter production data and piece count information into the computer system accurately and timely.
  • Print product tags and properly label bundles according to company procedures.
  • Band and paper-wrap material as needed to ensure proper packaging and protection.
  • Maintain accurate production records while following all safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to identify quality defects and report discrepancies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required by the position.
  • Working knowledge of technical software that is specific to the industry
