Overview

Triple-S Steel Supply is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ERP Finance Analyst to support, enhance, and optimize the financial modules within the organization’s ERP environment. This role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and IT to evaluate financial processes, translate business requirements into system solutions, improve data accuracy, and drive operational efficiency.The ERP Finance Analyst leads system enhancements, resolves issues, supports end users, and ensures the integrity, reliability, and effectiveness of financial data across the organization. The ERP environment includes a combination of standard financial functionality and cloud based ERP Platform for the Metals Industry.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate financial processes and present strategic system solutions leveraging ERP capabilities.
  • Lead and support finance-focused ERP initiatives, including enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality deployments.
  • Provide day-to-day functional support for ERP financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, and Budgeting.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement improved controls, workflows, and reporting structures.
  • Collaborate with development and technical teams to implement new features, integrations, and custom financial reporting tools.
  • Gather, document, and refine financial and operational business requirements.
  • Diagnose, analyze, and resolve ERP issues while minimizing disruption to business operations.
  • Facilitate design workshops and participate in solution prototyping to enhance financial processes and data flows.
  • Maintain current knowledge of ERP financial applications, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Provide end-user support, training, and guidance, ensuring effective system adoption and strong customer service.
  • Manage and prioritize service desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation of recurring financial processes and reporting.

Qualifications

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience translating financial and business requirements into effective ERP configurations and workflows.
  • Professional experience supporting or administering ERP financial modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, Infor, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Experience working with IT project management methodologies, change management processes, and documentation standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial and technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with business users, leadership, and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and professional demeanor.
  • Experience driving process improvement and automation initiatives within ERP or financial systems environments.
