The Maintenance Technician's primary responsibility is to ensure that the machinery used in daily operations runs at maximum efficiency and output. This includes overseeing preventive maintenance, managing mechanical, electrical, and robotic equipment, as well as supervising employees, budgets, and cost reporting. This hands-on role requires a commitment to working extended hours during busy periods and being a team player who is willing to perform various related tasks throughout the day.
Education and Experience:
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet priorities and deadlines
Good attendance and a positive attitude
Ability to optimize work processes
Experience negotiating with vendors
Understanding of maintenance tracking software
Experience with overhead cranes, burning tables, or similar machinery (preferred)
