We are seeking a motivated Credit Analyst to collect, record, and verify application data, facilitating a credit application. Candidate will work on site at our Westminster location Candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to multitask and must be detail oriented.

Compensation: $68,000 to $70,000 Annual

Responsibilities

• Create/Set up, Edit and Maintain customer files – both electronic and hard copy
• Process resale certificates
• Conduct credit checks on new or existing accounts
• Track and collect returned checks including all follow through with appropriate agencies used in collection.
• Prepare credit applications for approval by Credit Manager by requesting credit references and researching credit history as directed.
• Maintain a filing system for all computer printouts of entry batches and reports.
• Report late payments and non-payments to the Credit Manager on a regular basis.
• Compile and mail statements to customers on a monthly basis.
• Provide superior customer service at all times along with the appropriate discretion
• Perform all tasks in accordance with company processes and procedures
• Process credit card payments
• Make collection calls
• Reconcile accounts receivables
• Support the credit team as needed with various credit job duties

 

 

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:


• High level computer and document-processing ability
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with employees (sales, operations, HR, executive) and customers
• Consistently meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Must be able to multi-task and be detail oriented.
• Possess a general knowledge of accouEducation and Experience:nting principles and practices.

• Sales Tax knowledge

  • Education and Experience:
    • BS/BA in Finance or Accounting
    • Minimum 1-2years of commercial credit experience
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Knowledge of security and creditor rights
    • Strong communication & negotiating skills
    • Knowledge of construction lien law
    • Strong PC skills - word processing/spreadsheets
    Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
    • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products: Ex. Excel, Word, and Outlook
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Ability to work with Senior Management to ensure financial directives are followed
    • A quick learner, deadline driven, with a can-do attitude are essential traits for our successful candidate.
