ABOUT THE POSTION:

We are seeking a motivated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our business. The Shipping/Receiving Clerk will manage shipping and receiving for trucks and rail centers.

Pay range: $18.00- $20.00

Responsibilities

  • Receive all shipments by outside sources and company transfers.
  • Field questions about orders from warehouse and sales.
  • Perform stock checks.
  • Address any backorders immediately each morning.
  • Maintain organized and accurate inventory.
  • Create and update transports (BOL)
  • Customer PO entry

Qualifications

  •  High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Good math and excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to deal effectively with employees.
  • Ability to multi-task, ability to deal with changing circumstance and situations.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently use a tape measure and micrometer.
  • Ability to operate an overhead crane.
  • Knowledge of structural steel products or previous steel distribution warehouse experience preferred.
