Reports to: Quality Control Manager

Founded in 2016, Tube Supply provides quality steel tube and bar in alloy, stainless, and carbon for oil and gas applications, including drilling, completions, production, and downhole tools.  Our steel tubular and bar products are tailored specifically to meet the demands of the oil and gas industry, including high pressure, high temperature (HPHT) and sour (H2S) well environments. Tube Supply clients are leading oil and gas service companies, OEMs, and manufacturing centers spanning as far as Canada and Mexico in addition to the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Review Mill Test Reports to ensure compliance with internal and industry standards
  • Track and review material testing and results along with record keeping
  • Monitor the quality testing requirements for all material and service suppliers. 
  • Monitor Supplier Performance
  • Assist in processing NCRs and Corrective Actions
  • Assist in Customer and Industry Certification Audits
  • Complete customer QMS surveys
  • Create and update QMS documents and procedures
  • Comply with all HSE, QMS, and company policies set forth by Triple-S Tube Supply
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (engineering preferred), or 1-3 years of relevant experience. 
  • Computer literacy and document-processing ability. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). 
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to plan, prioritize and multi-task. 
  • Self-motivated, able to work autonomously. 
  • Willingness and ability to learn new skills. 
  • Must embody Tube Supply's core values of Excellence, Loyalty, and Fun. 

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

  • QA/QC experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing envrionment. 
  • Experience with industry standards such as ISO9001:2015, API Q1 or API 20 series. 
  • Knowledge of basic metallurgy and metallurgical testing processes.
