Founded in 2016, Tube Supply provides quality steel tube and bar in alloy, stainless, and carbon for oil and gas applications, including drilling, completions, production, and downhole tools.  Our steel tubular and bar products are tailored specifically to meet the demands of the oil and gas industry, including high pressure, high temperature (HPHT) and sour (H2S) well environments. Tube Supply clients are leading oil and gas service companies, OEMs, and manufacturing centers spanning as far as Canada and Mexico in addition to the United States.

Description of Responsibilities:

• Collaborate directly with the CFO to achieve the following near team objectives:
• Address outstanding cash accounting tasks and establish a daily bank reconciliation process to expedite the financial closing period.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of a standardized journal entry template and employ this new format to accurately post required entries in the general ledger.
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, pinpoint opportunities for process enhancement, and ensure accurate scheduling and monitoring of future reconciliations.
• Address outstanding intercompany reconciliations and devise a structured timeline and methodology to facilitate a streamlined and expedited closing process.
• Provide support on various ad hoc projects as required, aiding the CFO in achieving the overarching objectives of both the company and the department.
• Contribute to the compilation of monthly financial statements and the assembly of detailed reporting packages.
• Maintain an internal control environment to ensure the integrity and compliance of financial processes and operations.
• Assist in treasury management of all bank accounts.
• Assist in furnishing timely and accurate information to external tax compliance service providers to facilitate tax compliance and reporting.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Position is held solely in the office five days a week as we work lock step with our distribution operations
• At least 5 years of general ledger accounting/auditing experience required
• CPA license or CPA candidate preferred
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP
• IFRS experience preferred but not required
