  • Overview

    Triple-S Steel is seeking a mid-level, full time Cloud Applications Administrator to join our Corporate IT team. 


    This position is responsible for administering the cloud infrastructure, including but not limited too: creating\maintaining environments, testing, security, configuration and monitoring of the cloud infrastructure and environment that Triple S operates.


    Responsibilities will be defined based on individual strengths/knowledge and may include:

    • Administration and maintenance of Triple-S Steel Datacenter Systems to include Microsoft Azure Cloud resources and on-prem Virtual Server systems
    • Projects and tasks as directed by the Manager of Network Systems
    • Maintains software and operating systems to include troubleshooting and problem resolution
    • Schedule, perform, and monitor system backups and perform data recoveries in Azure, on-prem, and Office 365
    • Recommends, plans, and performs system upgrades (with Mgmt approval), including coordinating the transition from test to production environments
    • Schedules tasks using software support tools and scripts
    • Provides Tier 2 technical support for system users
    • Other assignments commensurate with individual skills and experience


    • Experience with Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and Virtualization
    • Familiar with Active Directory, Citrix and VMware
    • Basic networking experience and understanding
    • Experience with Cisco, Riverbed, and Barracuda technologies a plus
    • Work well with others and take direction from manager
    • Ability to work well and think under pressure
