  • Overview

    The HR Administrator provides support for the HR function. They assists in administering various employee benefit plans, employee services, and other human resources programs.  They will provide administrative support for employee recordkeeping, Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Workers Compensation and other areas.


    HR Records Maintenance

    • Process employee record changes in ADP and communicate to affected departments as needed.
    • Maintain confidential Employee forms and files (personnel files, HIPAA files, storage files, recruiting files, etc.).
    • Data entry in ADP and SharePoint databases with strong attention to maintaining data integrity.
    • Prepare reports via ADP, iCims, Excel, or any other method as required.
    • Ensures required legal documentation is maintained on a regular basis.

    General Duties

    • Provide professional, efficient, and positive customer service to visitors, employees, candidates, and vendors.
    • Interface professionally and efficiently with all Triple-S Steel subsidiaries in HR-related matters.
    • Maintains all Workers Compensation recordkeeping requirements to include proper and timely reporting to insurance companies.
    • Prepare letters, e-mails, scans, verifications of employment, and other correspondence as needed.
    • Process invoices for payment.
    • Assists with processing of terminations.
    • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
    • Coordinate meeting logistics (i.e. all-employee meetings) as needed.
    • Assist with foreign country work visa documentation, etc. as requested.
    • Works on other assigned HR related projects as needed.
    • Provides support to all HR functions such as onboarding, benefits, and training.
    • Maintains company organization charts and the employee directory.
    • Completes annual I9 Audit and follows up with all work authorization documentation to ensure compliance.


    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years of recent, relevant experience providing administrative level HR support to include Workers Compensation administration.
    • SHRM Certification strongly preferred.
    • Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred
    • Experience in Distribution environment preferred
    • Thorough knowledge of wide range of HR/legal standards & regulations, programs, and processes.
    • Self-starting, results-oriented individual who is team oriented
    • Effective organization, time management, and verbal/written communication skills
    • Able to handle multiple projects and priorities as well as deal with ambiguity
    • Demonstrates a strong attention to detail
    • Experience working with OnBase data management systems preferred
    • Advanced computer literacy, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
