  • Overview

    The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for promoting and branding the business effectively with the goal of generating sales for Triple-S Steel & its subsidiaries. This role works closely with Sales and Product Management to ensure alignment of marketing strategy, marketing process, messaging objectives and client needs as well as to help design and implement the ability to measure such improvements.


    • Organizes Marketing and Communications (MarCom) activities for Events (Trade-shows, Customer Seminars, etc.)
    • Represents the company at Trade Shows, Customer Seminars and Events.
    • Acts as gatekeeper for materials to be in compliance with company branding requirements with respect to design, layout, core messaging and marketing effort; builds brand identity and recognition.
    • Develops, manages and maintains all online communication vehicles, including but not limited to: Corporate Website, E-mails, Datasheets and Online Social Media (including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, blogs, etc.)
    • Coordinates internal and external announcements through website, e-mailings, and press releases.
    • Implements marketing initiatives focused on pulling relevant prospects and customers towards Triple-S Steel.
    • Works with Product Managers & Sales team to develop marketing content.
    • Identifies opportunities for lead generation and creates marketing collateral: case studies, data sheets, whitepapers, feature or benefit sheets, etc.
    • Manages copy-writing and trademark content.


    Education & Experience:

    • BA/BS degree in English, Marketing or Communications
    • Three (3) or more years of experience in a similar position (Marketing Communication) required, preferably an Industrial company.
    • Proficient User: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, illustrator, Dreamweaver), HTML, Microsoft Dynamic CRM, Click Dimensions, and the company’s website interface. 
    • Three (3) or more years of experience working in a fast-paced sales environment that requires multitasking
    • A proven track record of successful work experience.
    • Commitment and proponent of Company’s core values.


    • Ability to work in a team but maintain independent work skills; be a self-starter and possess a strong work ethic.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Applications to include but not limited to; Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
    • Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks with frequent interruptions.
    • Great level of reliability and accountability as many functions of the role are subject to stringent or changing deadlines.
    • Excellent organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent project management skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to influence. Effectively communicate in both verbal and written form. Willingness to explain difficult issues and think quickly.
